Box Score SCRANTON, Pa. - For the second time in as many outings, Penn State Harrisburg's women's volleyball team swept its way to victory, defeating Marywood 3-0 on Thursday night, Sept. 26 by set scores of 25-17, 25-19, and 25-20.

The Lions (9-3) used a couple of timely runs to create separation in the opening set, beginning with a Sheridan service run that included kills from Tesia Oliva, Hannah DeGregory, and Ondishin Ribon. Later in the set, a five-point run during Ellie Brown's serve effectively put things out of reach and gave the visitors the early lead.
Penn State Harrisburg got off to a 4-0 advantage in the second set and never trailed, using a four-point swing during a Miller service run midway through the game to open things up, punctuated by a Brown kill. After trading points with the Pacers (3-10), the visitors reeled off six straight that included a pair of Ondishin Ribon aces to put the set away.
The Lions led front start to finish what proved to be the final set and pulled ahead by as many as nine at 19-10 following an Ondishin Ribon kill off a Sheridan assist and despite a late rally from Marywood, Penn State Harrisburg closed things out with back-to-back kills from Emily Miller and DeGregory to thwart the comeback attempt and complete the sweep.
