LATHAM, N.Y. - Penn State Harrisburg baseball player Kyle Mahady has been named the United East Volt Division Pitcher of the Week.
The honor is Mahady's second conference weekly award this season after earning the same recognition last month.
The right hander picked up his second win of the spring in a 12-0 victory over Penn State Berks on Friday afternoon. The senior threw six scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and three walks to go along with six strikeouts to keep Penn State Harrisburg undefeated in conference play.
Winners of 12 in a row, the Lions (16-5, 6-0 United East) travel to Scranton for a non-conference tilt on Friday afternoon.
