LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up their 2024 campaigns at the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships hosted by Lock Haven on Saturday, Nov. 16.
On the men's side, United East All-Conference runners Angel Patino and Zack Gibson led the way, with Patino running a time of 29:54.9 to earn him a 177th-place finish out of 216 total competitors, while Gibson's effort of 30:43.3 was good enough to secure him a 188th-place finish.
Jon Carnesi came home 191st behind a time of 31:10.5, while Bennett Seller posted an effort of 31:24.4 to finish 193rd. Kyle Davis (206th), Will Wang (208th), and Tyler Price (215th) rounded out the Penn State Harrisburg contingency in the 8K event..
For the women, it was Destiny Samuels leading the way as she has for the majority of the season, with the United East All-Conference honoree finishing 171st out of 217 total runners with a time of 26:56.5 in the 6K race. Fellow all-conference runner Melina Dhital came home 192nd with an effort of 28:31.2.
Completing the Penn State Harrisburg group of competitors was Kaylee Brown (208th), Layna Horner (211th), and Daphnny Gomes (214th).
