Lions Drop Pair to SUNYIT

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - The Penn State Harrisburg Nittany Lion baseball team dropped a doubleheader to NEAC foe SUNY IT on Sunday, 0-6 and 0-5. The losses drop Penn State Harrisburg to 2-21, 1-3 NEAC while the Wildcats improved to 11-9, 4-0 NEAC.

In the first game of the doubleheader, SUNY IT outscored the Nittany Lions 6-0 to nab their third straight conference win. The Wildcats started the game strong with two straight two run innings to give them an early lead.

The Nittany Lions struggled offensively, recording just 5 hits throughout the double header. SUNY IT pitcher Anthony Surbur only allowed one Nittany Lion hit in game two to pace the Wildcats.

The Nittany Lions will take a break from conference action to play at Penn State Altoona on Thursday, April 7th at 1:00 PM.
