MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's baseball team received votes in the final D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 Poll of the 2026 campaign, marking the seventh straight season in which the program has been nationally ranked or received votes in the year-end rankings.
Following the conclusion of the NCAA Division III Championship Series last week, the Lions (36-15) received 26 votes in the final D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 Poll of the spring—the third-highest total of any program outside the top 25. This year, Penn State Harrisburg won a single-season program-record 36 games, captured the program's fifth United East Championship, and advanced to an NCAA Regional Final for the first time in program history.
As a team this spring, the Lions ranked sixth in the nation in walks (287), 12th in hits (556), 15th in runs (455), 18th in hits allowed per nine innings (8.52) and 25th in WHIP (1.41).
Numerous players also earned individual accolades, with
James Quici securing ABCA/Rawlings All-America honors after being named the D3baseball.com Region IV Rookie of the Year. He was joined by
Fisher Druck and
Blaine Waltimyer as all-region selections, while eight players secured United East All-Conference recognition this spring.
