LA PLUME, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's basketball team kept rolling in conference play with a decisive 83-60 road victory over United East foe Keystone on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 6.
Dylan Moore led the way with a team-high 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field. Jordan Spencer finished with 16 points and a pair of blocks, while Justin Leddo added 11 points and five rebounds off the bench.
The Lions (4-4, 2-0 United East) wasted little time exerting their dominance and used a pivotal 15-0 run bookended by 3-balls from Leddo and Spencer to push the visitors' lead to 25-6 at the 9:02 mark. Penn State Harrisburg kept its foot on the gas and used another 15-4 spurt to extend the advantage to 40-10 following another Spencer triple with 5:09 left before the break.Â
Leading 48-22 at the break, the Lions pushed their lead to as many as 31 points early in the second half following a slam by Moore off an assist from Antwone George with 16:02 left to play. The Giants (1-7, 0-2 United East) pulled to within 18 points with four minutes remaining but the visitors capped their dominant performance by closing out the contest with a 3-pointer from Moore and an old-fashioned 3-point play from Kevin Lucas Jr.Â
