In the third, the away team was fighting from behind for awhile until Cairn tied it up 14-14 halfway through the set. The surge proved to not be enough for the Highlanders and the Lions earned the advantage to conclude the frame 25-21.
Cairn had one last push in the final set of the afternoon, but a six-point run by Penn State Harrisburg to gain a 19-15 edge gave the Lions all the momentum in the back half of the frame.
