Hitz and Nye Lead the Blue and White Against the Dutchmen

Middletown, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg women's tennis team played well but dropped a 7-2 decision to Lebanon Valley on Wednesday October 5th.

Singles Matches

-Alicia Hitz dominated in her match, winning her first set 6-3 and her second 6-0 to take down Marla Scacchitti of Lebanon Valley

-Sydney Nye came out strong in the first set of her singles match 6-4 before dropping the second 6-3. Nye went on to win the third set 10-4 to give her the Lion's second point of the match

-Elena Pichner dropped a tight 6-3, 6-2 in sixth singles match

Doubles Matches

-The first doubles team of Alicia Hitz and Sydney Nye fell 8-6 in a highly competitive first doubles match

-Doubles partners Tian Chang Luo and Sarah Shahriar also played well but fell in the second doubles match 8-3
