Shane Holbein

The 2024-2025 season marks Shane Holbein's second season as the assistant coach of the men's and women's tennis programs at Penn State Harrisburg. Prior to being named to the assistant coach role in the spring of 2024, Holbein was an assistant coach at Red Land High School.

COACHING BIO
Before arriving in Middletown, Holbein started his coaching career as an assistant coach at Red Land High School in 2022, where he coached both the boys and girls tennis teams.

Holbein owns his own business, founding Commonwealth Pest Management in 2021. He holds a Computer Software Engineering degree from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology as well. 

An avid tennis player, Holbein is a member of Bent Creek Country Club, where he serves on the Racquets Committee, which promotes the growth of youth tennis. He also serves on the USTA Central Pennsylvania District Council.

Holbein resides in Lancaster with his wife and two children.
