Former Penn State Harrisburg standout goalkeeper Delaney Shifflett will join the women's soccer coaching staff in 2022. 

 

Shifflett is set to join the staff as a volunteer assistant coach under head coach Brandon West. She will primarily work with the team's goalkeepers.

 

After starting as a goalkeeper for Division II Shippensburg for two years, Shifflett transferred to Penn State Harrisburg in 2020 before her final collegiate season in 2021. She started every game in goal and contributed to 13 shutouts during her senior campaign. She helped lead the Lions to the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance after winning the United East Championship. She logged 1,883 minutes in net and recorded 12 wins on the year. She made 83 total saves on the season, finished with an .830 save percentage, and posted a 0.81 goals allowed average. For her efforts, Shifflett was named to the United East All-Conference Second Team.
