Brooke Hofsass begins her first season as an assistant coach for the Penn State Harrisburg field hockey program in 2025.
Hofsass joins head coach Amanda Janney Misselhorn’s staff after interning at Lock Haven University, her alma mater, in the spring of 2025.
She recently completed her collegiate playing career at Division I Lock Haven in 2024. A four-year starter, Hofsass appeared in 69 games and started all but one of them for the Bald Eagles, recording 35 total points thanks to 11 goals and 13 assists. She was also strong in the classroom, earning three College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Division I At-Large accolades to go along with a pair of National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic Squad honors. Her efforts helped Lock Haven clinch an Atlantic 10 Conference postseason berth in 2022.
In high school, Hofsass starred locally for Lower Dauphin, earning Pennsylvania High School Field Hockey Coaches Association (PHSFHCA) All-State Second Team recognition following her senior campaign to go along with numerous Mid-Penn All-Star honors during her career.
Hofsass earned her degree from Lock Haven in 2025.Â
