BALTIMORE, MD - The Penn State Harrisburg men's tennis team participated in the Goucher Invitational this past weekend. Multiple players competed in a plethora of brackets consisting of singles and doubles to round out the day. 

DOUBLES
Rajarajan/Kanithi was the only duo from the Lions to win their first matchup of the afternoon to advance to the second round. The pairs of Pawar/Cuturic, Opitz/Herb, Lines/Caviness and Wolfgang/Ahmed all dropped their opening doubles matchups. All those teams would win their respective consolation matches in the doubles brackets. 

SINGLES
Pawar and Rajarajan played in the A bracket. Pawar won both of his matchups 8-7(7) and 8-3 to claim the bracket A victory. After dropping his first match, Rajarajan won his second match 8-6 to conclude his afternoon. 

Ian Opitz represented the C bracket and opened with a loss before rallying out two keys wins in the consolation side. He rallied from 4-7 down to win 8-7(0) in his final singles match of the day. Herb and Lines competed in the D bracket where Herb would go 2-1, losing his final match in the finals. Lines lost both of his prosets on the day. 

After a win in the opening round, Kanithi lost his second round match in the E bracket. The rest of the team competed in the F bracket, where Caviness picked up a couple of wins to claim the F bracket victory. Wolfgang would also go on to pick up a win in the consolation bracket. 

The Lions will battle Lebanon Valley on Wednesday in the home opener at the Hoverter Tennis Complex.
