MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - After sweeping a three-game series over the weekend, Penn State Harrisburg baseball climbed two spots in the most recent D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 Poll.


The Lions (5-1) swept UMass Dartmouth over the weekend to stretch their ongoing win streak to five in a row. Thanks to that recent success, Penn State Harrisburg climbed two spots to No. 21 in the latest D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 Poll. As a group, the Lions rank 16th in the nation in strikeouts per nine innings (11.9), as well as 29th in the country in scoring at 10.2 runs per game. 


Individually, Fisher Druck was recently named the United East Pitcher of the Week after throwing six scoreless innings and striking out nine batters in Saturday's victory over UMass Dartmouth. 


The Lions a tough test when they travel to Virginia to take on No. 8 Rowan in a rescheduled contest on Friday afternoon.
