MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Thanks to her combination of success on the court and in the classroom during the 2025-26 season, Penn State Harrisburg women's basketball player Lauren Moffatt has earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District recognition.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

A United East All-Conference Second Team selection, Moffatt turned in a breakout sophomore campaign that saw her nearly average a double-double with 11.7 points and a team-high 9.3 rebounds per game. The forward recorded a team-best nine double-doubles and ranked top-50 in the nation with 252 total rebounds on the season. The Mountville, Pa. native also led the team in assists (42) and ranked second among Penn State Harrisburg players in steals (42). She was impressive at the foul line, shooting a team-best 81.5 percent from the charity stripe this year. Moffatt netted a career-high 30 points in a postseason win over Penn State Brandywine and pulled down a career-best 17 rebounds on two separate occasions this season. For her efforts, she was named the United East Defensive Player of the Week in mid-January.
