LATHAM, N.Y. – Penn State Harrisburg's softball team has been picked to finish third in the United East preseason coaches' poll.
The Lions rank third in the poll after matching a program-record 28 victories a year ago and making a run to the final day of the United East Championship Tournament. A pair of all-region players in Mackenzie Fisher and Madisen Minney are back to help lead the way this spring, as is all-conference honoree Kylee Miller.
Penn State Berks topped the coaches' poll after securing five first-place votes, while the defending conference champions from Penn State Brandywine earned the runner-up spot and nabbed the most first-place votes with six. Penn College, last year's conference runner-up, earned two first-place votes to rank fourth in the poll and Wilson rounded out the top five.
Penn State Harrisburg is scheduled to begin the 2026 campaign by hosting Dickinson for a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon, March 3.
