MANHAWKIN, N.J. - Thanks to their success in the classroom during the 2025 season, three Penn State Harrisburg players have been named National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Scholars of Distinction.
Penn State Harrisburg standouts Ami Mattingly, Faith Musser and Sara Yeselavage earned the NFHCA accolade thanks to their academic prowess during the most recent campaign.
The scholar of distinction program acknowledges exceptional undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher through the fall semester, as nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.
Mattingly's latest NFHCA Scholar of Distinction plaudit is the fourth of her career dating back to her time at Division I Saint Francis (Pa.), while Musser and Yeselavage also earned spots on the NFHCA National Academic Squad for their efforts.
