LATHAM, N.Y. - Thanks to her efforts during the team's most recent outings, Penn State Harrisburg women's volleyball player Camryn Wettstone has been named the United East Offensive Player of the Week.
Wettstone put together a career week to help guide Penn State Harrisburg to a pair of wins. The senior recorded a match-high 16 kills in a three-set victory at Penn College on Wednesday night before racking up a career-high 21 kills, two blocks, and a service ace in a five-set victory over Cairn on Saturday. Her 24.0 total points against the Highlanders matched Penn State Harrisburg's single-match program record. The team captain reached double-digit kills for the third time against Division II Point Park (Pa.) and finished the week with 47 kills, 51.5 points, 20 digs, and six blocks.
The Lions continue conference play when they host United East foe Gallaudet on Tuesday night.
