CLEVELAND - After an impressive fall campaign that saw a pair of athletic programs earn NCAA Tournament berths and two more make postseason runs to their respective conference championship games, Penn State Harrisburg ranks 57th in the Learfield Directors' Cup Standings, as announced by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA).

The Learfield Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the NACDA and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.

Penn State Harrisburg amassed 89 total points to lead the way among United East institutions. St. Mary's (Md.) ranks 98th (50 points) and is the only other conference representative included in the initial rankings. Through the course of the year, Directors' Cup points are awarded based on a school's finish in up to 18 sports in NCAA Championships.

This fall, Penn State Harrisburg's women's soccer team captured its second straight United East Championship and concluded its historic season by becoming the first program in school history to make a reach the NCAA Round of 16. Men's soccer also secured a conference championship and qualified for the NCAA Tournament, while field hockey and women's volleyball each made playoff runs to their respective United East Championship Games for the first time in program history. Women's cross country's third-place finish at the United East Championships was its highest in program history, while men's cross country finished seventh as a group at the conference championship event.

The NACDA will announce its second set of rankings on April 2 once the winter season concludes. The final standings are set to be released on June 9 following the conclusion of the 2025-26 athletic campaign.
