Hannah DeGregory has been named the United East Offensive Player of the Week.
DeGregory's versatility was on full display for Penn State Harrisburg in three outings a week ago. The senior opened the week by racking up a match-high 16 assists to go along with seven kills in a road sweep of Lycoming on Thursday night. The Fairfax, Va. native followed it up with her first double-double of the week when she tallied 14 kills and 15 assists, as well as a pair of aces, in handing Marywood their first loss of the season on Saturday morning. The team captain closed out the weekend by finishing one dig shy of a triple-double with 10 kills, 14 assists and nine digs in a setback to Widener on Saturday afternoon.
For the week, DeGregory racked up 31 kills, 45 assists and 35.5 total points, while also surpassing the 500-kill, 700-assist and 500-dig marks for her career.
The Lions (4-3) are set to host Alvernia for their home opener at the Capital Union Building on Tuesday night.
