READING, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's women's volleyball team opened the 2025 campaign with a decisive 3-0 road sweep of Albright on Saturday afternoon, August 30. The Lions claimed their first victory of the fall by set scores of 25-23, 25-14 and 25-11.
Hannah DeGregory opened her senior season in impressive fashion, finishing with 14 kills, eight digs and five assists, while Camryn Wettstone posted a double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs. Mackenzy Miller tallied 19 assists, while Nicole Dos Santos recorded four service aces. Tesia Oliva led the way at the net with five block assists.
Penn State Harrisburg (1-0) raced out to a 10-6 lead in the first set during a Jasmin Fowlkes service run and maintained a slight advantage the rest of the way before putting the hometown Lions (0-1) away with kills from DeGregory and Wettstone down the stretch. Albright jumped out to a 3-0 advantage in set two but the visitors stormed back with with seven straight points during a Kate Bukowski service stretch and never looked back. The final set was all Penn State Harrisburg, with the visitors leading by as many as 14 points midway through the game before Wettstone put an exclamation point on the sweep with a kill off a Miller assist.
