LATHAM, N.Y. – Penn State Harrisburg's men's soccer team has been picked to finish second in the United East preseason coaches' poll.
The Lions rank second in the poll and received three first-place votes after racking up 14 wins a year ago and being narrowly edged in PK's in the semifinal round of the United East Championship Tournament. A trio of all-conference players return to lead the way this fall, including first-teamers
Tai Bhalla and
Colin O'Hara, as well as second-team selection
Alden Reeves.
The defending conference champions from St. Mary's (Md.) topped the coaches' poll and secured nine first-place votes. Penn State Abington was pegged third, while Cairn earned one first-place vote and was tabbed fourth. Lancaster Bible rounded out the top five.
Penn State Harrisburg is set to begin the 2025 campaign by hosting non-conference opponent Fredonia on Friday afternoon, August 29.
