MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Former Penn State Harrisburg men's basketball standout Donyae Baylor-Carroll was recently included on PennLive's list of the 25 best Mid-Penn boys basketball players of the century so far.

PennLive commemorated the first 25 years of the century by recognizing the best varsity players of the past 25 years in Mid-Penn Conference high school sports. Also named to PennLive's Mid-Penn Conference All-Decade Team in 2020, Baylor-Carroll turned in one of the most historic high school careers in recent memory, racking up a school-record 1,632 points at Milton Hershey en route to leading the Spartans to a district title and PIAA semifinal appearance. The Harrisburg, Pa. native led the Mid-Penn Conference in scoring during his senior year and was a PIAA 5A All-State selection in 2018 when he was named the PennLive Mid-Penn Conference Player of the Year.

During his four seasons at Penn State Harrisburg, Baylor-Carroll was one of the nation's top players while turning in the most decorated career in program history. Following his senior campaign, the versatile guard was named a consensus all-American, earning plaudits from both the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and D3hoops.com, and was selected to the 2024 NABC — Reese's Division III College All-Star Game. He racked up six all-region honors, earned three conference player of the year accolades and secured a pair of NCAA Statistical Championships over the course of his illustrious career. He led Penn State Harrisburg to three conference championships and three NCAA Tournament victories, including a memorable 45-point outing in a win over No. 6 Johns Hopkins in 2020. The program's all-time leading scorer (1,973 points), he completed his career as the NCAA Division III active 3-point leader and holds program records for 3-point field goals (352) and steals (261).
