TEMPE, Ariz. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's and women's tennis programs, as well as a nine individual players, were honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) for their academic success during the 2024-25 campaign.
The men's and women's tennis teams each earned ITA All-Academic Team recognition for posting a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher during the most-recent academic year.
Individually, women's players Hailey Dey, Breanna DeSantis, Tejshree Patel and Carissa Fallon earned ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition, as did men's players Kevin Liang, Colin Flack, Derwin Merca, Michael Rivino, Riley Fallon and Derwin Merca. To earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must be a varsity letter winner and hold a GPA of at least 3.5 for the current academic year.
