ATLANTA - Penn State Harrisburg's women's basketball program has been recognized by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) for its academic success during the 2024-25 campaign.
Penn State Harrisburg was honored as a WBCA Division III Academic Top 25 Special Mention for the second year in a row. As a group, Penn State Harrisburg achieved a team GPA of 3.616 during the 2024-25 season, with 10 players recently earning United East All-Academic Team recognition for carrying a GPA of 3.2 or higher during the spring semester.
The annual WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and two-year college women's basketball teams across the country that carry the highest combined grade point averages (GPA) inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2024-25 season is the 30th in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.
