GREENSBORO, N.C. – Penn State Harrisburg's baseball team has been included in the final American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) national ranking of the 2025 season.
Following the conclusion of the Division III Championship Series last week, the Lions (34-13-1) are ranked 27th in the final ABCA Coaches Poll of the season. This spring, Penn State Harrisburg won 30 games for the fourth year in a row, earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament for the sixth consecutive season and hosted an NCAA Regional for the third straight time.
As a team this spring, the Lions ranked third in the nation in walks (288), sixth in runs (469), eighth in hits (564), ninth in scoring (9.8) and 10th in on-base percentage (.443).
Numerous individuals also earned accolades, with
Blaine Waltimyer earning all-America honors from both the ABCA/Rawlings and D3baseball.com. Waltimyer was joined by
Demetre Koutras III,
Brendan Henn and
Fisher Druck as all-region selections, while eight players secured all-conference honors this spring.
