LATHAM, N.Y. - Seven Penn State Harrisburg women's tennis players have earned United East All-Conference recognition for their efforts this season, as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon.

Allison Wootton earned all-conference first team recognition for both singles and doubles play, while Breanna DeSantis was tabbed first-team all-conference as a doubles player and second-team all-conference in singles. Anita Liu was named to the all-conference first team for her singles success and to the all-conference second team as a doubles player.

Sarah Shaub secured second-team all-conference honors as a singles and doubles player, while Hailey Dey, Karina Ko and Carissa Fallon each earned third-team all-conference recognition, with Dey garnering the accolade as both a singles and doubles player, Ko for her singles play and Fallon for her doubles success.

Wootton won a dozen matches from her No. 1 singles position, including five in conference play. She and DeSantis also teamed up to win 13 doubles matches from the No. 1 spot, with seven of them coming against United East opponents. DeSantis recorded 13 victories in solo action, with 11 coming from the No. 2 position, and six wins in conference play.

Liu won a team-high 14 singles matches this spring and finished 5-0 in United East play. She did much of her damage in the No. 3 spot and teamed with Shaub to rack up 13 doubles victories with an undefeated mark in conference action. Shaub had nine solo wins on the spring and went 6-0 in United East play, primarily from the No. 5 position.

Dey won 13 singles matches on the year, including 10 from the No. 4 spot, to go along with six victories in conference. She and Fallon also teamed up to win 11 matches in doubles play. The duo earned nine victories in the No. 3 position and finished 6-0 against United East opponents. Ko secured seven solo wins this season, including six in conference matches.

Fresh off winning a second straight United East Championship over the weekend, the Lions will travel to Washington & Lee to face No. 23 Swarthmore in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, May 9.
