MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg will host its second annual MLK Day "I Have a Dream" High School Basketball Classic on campus on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026. The event will celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. through community, competition, and inspiration.


The event will feature six local high school programs: McCaskey vs. Susquehanna Township and Bishop McDevitt vs. Central Dauphin for the pair of girls' games, as well as Central Dauphin vs. Central York for the boys' game. All three games will be contested at the Capital Union Building.


Penn State Harrisburg invites students, families and the local community to attend and cheer on the teams.


Admission is free for all games. Attendees are asked to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to local food banks. Penn State Harrisburg will match all donations.
