MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Thanks to their success on the court and in the classroom this fall, Penn State Harrisburg women's volleyball players Hannah DeGregory and Brianna Ondishin Ribon have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
The latest CSC Academic All-District honor is the third in as many years for DeGregory after she earned the same accolade each of the past two seasons. A United East All-Conference First Team selection this fall, she turned in a memorable senior campaign that saw her versatility on full display, as she ranked tied for ninth in the nation in triple-doubles with four on the season. The hitter/setter hybrid racked up a team-high 309 points and led the squad with 242 kills to go along with 306 assists, 197 digs, 43 service aces and 37 total blocks. The Fairfax, Va. native completed her illustrious career as the NCAA Division III active leader in triple-doubles (9) and ranked top-five in program history in numerous statistical categories, including points (911.5), kills (713), assists (916), aces (132) and block assists (97). Thanks to her efforts, the team captain was named the United East Offensive Player of the Week in mid-September. The Psychology major has also been consistently strong in the classroom throughout her career and currently holds a 3.71 cumulative GPA.
Ondishin Ribon secured her first CSC Academic All-District accolade after turning in a stellar junior campaign that saw her earn United East All-Conference First Team recognition this fall. The outside hitter had a career year and racked up 361 points thanks to 237 kills, 33 service aces and 21 total blocks. The Basking Ridge, N.J. native was also stout defensively, tallying 235 digs on the season. For her efforts, Ondishin Ribon was named the United East Defensive Player of the Week after recording a career-high 21 digs and three blocks in a thrilling five-set victory at Lancaster Bible in late September. The Criminal Justice major has also been impressive in the classroom and currently holds a 3.63 cumulative GPA.
