INDIANAPOLIS - Penn State Harrisburg's men's soccer team will take part in the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship Tournament for the fourth time in program history and first time since 2022, as revealed by the tournament selection committee on Monday morning, Nov. 10.


The Lions (11-6-3) clinched their fourth United East Championship in program history on Saturday afternoon to earn the league's automatic qualifier. Penn State Harrisburg will travel to the campus of Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass. to face the nation's top-ranked team in Tufts (14-1-3) in the team's first round contest  at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning, Nov. 15. The Lions and Jumbos are joined in the region by the hosts in No. 18 Brandeis (9-3-5) and Stevens (9-3-6). The winners of Saturday's matchups will meet in second round action on Sunday, Nov. 16.


All tournament games leading up to the national semifinals will be played on the campuses of the competing institutions. Sixteen sites will host four teams for first and second round competition, with second round winners advancing to the third round in two weeks. Winners of the four third round contests will advance to the quarterfinals, with those winners moving on to the national semifinals. Both the semifinals and national championship will be contested in Salem, Va. The national championship game will be played on December 7.
