Field Hockey Outlasts Albright For Third Straight Win

Box Score

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's field hockey team capitalized off a fourth-quarter goal from Natalie Rocuskie to seal a 2-1 victory over Albright on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 21.

Goalkeeper Macenzie Mulholland had three saves in the net for the Lions, while Rachel Lane and Rocuskie tallied a goal each on the day. Sadie Cook and Hailey Nelson added an assist apiece in the win.

Penn State Harrisburg (5-2) struck first with about 30 seconds left in the opening quarter, when Sadie Cook found Lane off a penalty corner and she rocketed the ball to the back of the net to put the Lions up 1-0 going into the second.

After a scoreless second frame, Albright (2-5) answered at the nine-minute mark of the third quarter, when Olivia Cimino sent the ball in front of the goal to Chelsea Johnson and Johnson dumped the ball to Aliza Langlois to bring the contest to a stalemate at 1-1.

With around 5:30 left in the contest, Nelson found position on the far right side of the field and sent a laser to Rocuskie inside the circle which she one-timed into the net to score the game-winning goal for the home team and secure the 2-1 victory over the visiting Lions.
