In the opener, Penn State Harrisburg got out to an early led in the first set versus the Colonels and didn't let go until they earned the 25-18 win to start the day. The next two frames were back-and-forth battles in which the Lions came out on top thanks to consistent play on both offense and defense. The second set went into extras due to the competitive nature of the match, but the home team found their momentum halfway through, scoring four straight points to find their biggest lead of the set. In the final set against Wilkes, the home team was able to cut a five-point deficit and turn the tides in their favor late to finalize the 3-0 victory.
