Box Score MIDDLETOWN, Pa - Penn State Harrisburg's men's soccer team blanked Washington & Jefferson 2-0 in non-conference action at home on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 14.
The Lions (3-2-1) took advantage of two different fouls in the box by the Presidents, which provided a pair of goals that proved to be enough to secure the 2-0 victory for the home team. Kobe Harris netted the first penalty kick in the 22nd minute of the first half, before Colin O'Hara rounded things out with one of his own three minutes until the final buzzer.
Washington & Jefferson (2-4) was plagued by yellow cards over the course of the match, as they were given three compared to the one given to Penn State Harrisburg. The Blue & White dominated the major stat categories on offense with 16 total shots, 11 of which were on target.
During the first half, Presidents' goalkeeper Charles Boldosser was hounded by the Lions offense from the jump, making four out of his total six saves during the first 12 minutes of the match. The pressure didn't stop in the second frame for Washington & Jefferson, as Penn State Harrisburg forced Graeme Ewart to make three stops of his own in goal for the Presidents.
