Box Score MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's soccer team had it working on both sides of the field in a 6-0 shutout victory over non-conference foe Mary Baldwin on Sunday evening, Sept. 1.
Brandon Axton tallied a pair of goals to lead the way on the offensive end, while Malachi Abma found the back of the net and added an assist to record three points on the night. Defensively, the Lions (2-0) surrendered just four shots to the Fighting Squirrels (0-2) and goalkeeper Hossam Aly needed to make just one save to earn the win.
Tai Bhalla got the scoring started with what proved to be the game-winning goal in the 14th minute off an assist from Ricardo Bustamante. Colin O'Hara doubled the advantage with his first marker of the fall off a long boot from Aly in the 27th minute and Abma converted the team's third score with 11:17 left in the first half.
After the break, Alex Afata got into the scoring act off a find from Jaden Longdon in the 52nd minute before Axton closed out the scoring with back-to-back goals in the 76th and 86th minutes, respectively. Abma had the assist on Axton's first marker and Bo Shirk provided the helper on the final tally.

- After recording an assist in Saturday's win at St. Joseph's (L.I.), Bhalla increased his point total to three on the young season thanks to Sunday's game-winning goal.
