Box Score MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - On Tuesday night, Oct. 8, Penn State Harrisburg's men's soccer team defeated United East foe Penn State Brandywine 3-0 to win its sixth straight game.
Three different players in Alden Reeves, Alex Afata, and Colin O'Hara found the back of the net, while Tai Bhalla, Aidan McDaniels, and Griffen Martello each recorded assists.
The hometown Lions (10-3-1, 3-0 United East) wasted little time getting on the board when Reeves finished off a header from Bhalla off a throw in from McWilliams just six minutes into the contest.
Penn State Harrisburg opened the second half with a flourish as well when Afata rebounded his own header that was stopped by Penn State Brandywine goalkeeper Elijah DeBooth and fired his second attempt across the goal line to double the home team's advantage in the 53rd minute.
The Lions added a late insurance goal when O'Hara hammered home the final marker of the night off a timely find from Martello with 4:06 left to play.
