Box Score

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's basketball team used a strong second-half effort to pull away from Bridgewater (Va.) in a 75-63 non-conference victory at the Capital Union Building on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 19.

Chris Haynes led the way with a career-high 22 points; Nate Curry finished with 13 points and five rebounds; Isaiah Eggleston added a dozen points and six boards off the bench and Zegary Scott III dished out a game-high eight assists to go along with nine points.

Clinging to a three-point lead with 17:22 left in the second half, the Lions (2-2) ramped things up and put together a pivotal 8-0 run capped by a Haynes 3-ball that made it 49-38 at the 15:14 mark. Chase Robinson's 3-pointer a few possessions later stretched the advantage to 14 before back-to-back Scott layups ballooned the lead to 64-45 with 8:01 remaining.

Haynes and Scott followed it up by knocking down consecutive jumpers from beyond the arc to give Penn State Harrisburg its largest lead of the day at 70-49 with five minutes left to play before head coach Don Friday began emptying his bench in the closing minutes.
