How It Happened
Penn State Harrisburg defeated North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) foe Gallaudet 3-1, behind strong offensive efforts from Alexis Imler and Brittany Ebaugh.
The Lions got off to a slow start, dropping the opening set despite six kills from Ebaugh and five kills from Melanie Sheaffer. The offense started to find its rhythm midway through the second set. With the game tied a 11, Harrisburg would go on a six-point run behind three service aces from Katelyn Kreider. The Lions would continue to hold the led with Alexis Imler registering one of her team high 12 kills to maintain the advantage. The Blue & White would close out the set with a block from Ebaugh and Megan Hamm. Ebaugh would have excellent defensive performance posting five solo blocks and five blocks assisted.
In the third set, kills from Imler and Ebaugh would give Harrisburg a 17-16. The games would trade points with Cheyanna Buckingham recording a kill to put Harrisburg ahead 21-19. The Bison would battle back tying the game at 22. Harrisburg would answer back with a solo block from Ebaugh to close out the set, 25-22, and take a 2-1 lead in the game.
With momentum on their side, the Lions looked to close out the game in the fourth set. Harrisburg would go on a nine-point run early in the fourth set to take 10-3 advantage. Moments later, Harrisburg would go on a seven-point run powered by kills from Melanie Sheaffer and Alexis Imler, taking a commanding 17-5 led in the set. Harrisburg would then close out the victory with a six-point run capped off with a kill by Kreider. With the win, the Lions improved to 2-0 in NEAC play this season.

- Alexis Imler had an outstanding all-around performance recording 12 kills, 14 assists, and nine digs
- Brittany Ebaugh posted nine kills, five blocks solo, and five blocks assisted

How It Happened
After defeating Gallaudet in the opening game, Penn State Harrisburg fell to Eastern Mennonite in a highly competitive match. The Lions were led by Brittany Ebaugh, whose 21 kills were the second highest total ever recorded in single game by a Lion.
The Lions and Royals battled in a highly competitive first set that saw Harrisburg jump out to an early 7-1 lead. The Royals chipped away at the deficit, fending two possible set points in route to capturing the opening set.
Harrisburg would fall in an 11-5 hole early in the second set. The Lions attempted to rally scoring four-straight points behind kills form Anna Ruff and Kately Kreider. Ruff would match her career high with nine kills in the match. The Lions would be unable to recapture the led in the set, eventually falling 25-23.
Trailing 2-0, the Lions need to win the third set to stay alive, turning to Ebaugh to lead the comeback. Ebaugh would take control of the game recording 10 kills in the third set alone, powering Harrisburg's offensive attack. The set once again was highly contested and with score tied at 24, Ebaugh delivered back-to-back kills to capture the third set for Harrisburg 26-24. Ebaugh continued rolling adding eight more kills in the fourth set, but the Lions could not capture the set falling 27-25 in the fourth set, allowing Eastern Mennonite to pick up the victory.
