Hoover, Nichik Score Twice In Win

Clarks Summit, Pa.  The Penn State Harrisburg Men's Soccer team got two goals from Ethan Hoover and Toma Nichik in route to 4-0 victory over Clarks Summit. With the win the Lions improve to 9-0 on the season.

How It Happened:

The Lions got off to a fast start with Ethan Hoover scoring in the 5th minute. With the early advantage, the Lions continued to pressure the Defenders defense taking six shots on goal in the half. In the 28th minute, a Toma Nichik shot went off the cross bar but Hoover gathered in the loose ball and scored his second goal of the half. The Lions would hold the 2-0 advantage heading to halftime.

The Blue & White made some halftime adjustments, and immediately went on the attack in the second half. Shammah Gahomera found Nichik for a goal in the 51st minute, extending the lead to three. Nichik would strike again scoring in the 60th minute putting the game out of reach. The Lions would take advantage of the lead to once again play some of their depth, playing 28 different players in the game.
