Gettysburg Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg women's volleyball team traveled to the Gettysburg Battlefield Classic.  After a successful tournament in 2017 with a 3-1 record, the Lions were placed in a higher division for the 2018 tournament.  

Harrisburg started their 2018 campaign against a strong Dickinson Red Devil team.  The Lions were unable to find the rhythm they were hoping to start with and eventually suffered a 3-0 loss 25-12, 25-11 and 25-8. Harrisburg regrouped well against Penn State Altoona in game two to earn their first win of the year.  Harrisburg won set one 25-19, set two 25-23, lost set three 25-22 and won the fourth set in a tiebreaker 28-26.

Harrisburg will now face off against tournament host Gettysburg and finish their opening weekend with Meredith on Saturday September 1^st.
