The young Harrisburg squad fought hard during their match against the 14th ranked Mary Washington Eagles but fell short in the end. The Lions could not find an answer for an Eagles team that hit .439 % with five different people collecting five or more kills. With the Eagles offense rolling the Lions fell in the end 3-0 (25-15, 25-11, 25-9).
