Penn State Harrisburg Dominates Albright

Middletown, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg mens soccer team dominated visitor Albright College yesterday in a much needed win for the home team. The Nittany Lions were able to score three goals yesterday while also keeping a zero. 

 The first goal of the game came from Matthew Vaz (Stony Nrook, N.Y / Waramelville) in the opening twenty minutes of the half. His goal was assisted by Victor Medina (Lima, Peru / Seneca Valley). Within the first minute of the second half, Harrisburg was given a penalty kick after one of Albright's players was ejected from the game. Alex Panuccio (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Mechanicsburg Area) stepped up to take the kick and put it straight past the goalie making it a 2-0 lead. A few minutes later, Panuccio scored his second goal of the game. He was assisted by newcomer Ryan Daylor (Hershey, Pa. Hershey). The final score of the game was 3-0 for the home team.

 Penn State Harrisburg has the next two days off before returning to play on Tuesday. They will travel to McDaniel for a 4 pm kickoff.
