Blue and White Soars In Win Over Abington

Box Score

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - The Penn State Harrisburg Nittany Lions entered Wednesday night's contest in the hunt to regain the outright first place spot in NEAC standings and they did just that. Kenny Stone (Philadelphia, PA/Scotland) led the Nittany Lions to victory with a career high 23 points including three impressive dunks and 6 rebounds.

A balanced scoring effort paced the Lions through first half as nine players registered points. Kenton Alston (Harrisburg, PA/Steelton) led all scorers in the first half with 12 points and 5 rebounds and finished the game with 18 points.

The physicality of the game presented itself early and several players found themselves in foul trouble before the end of the half as 23 total fouls were called. The Lions were sent to the charity stripe 18 times and were able to capitalize on 13 of those opportunities.

Every Nittany Lion that entered Wednesday's game put points on the scoreboard. David Reisinger (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin) added 14 points and 5 rebounds and Antwine Tucker (Philadelphia, PA/John Bartram) added 12 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

Penn State Harrisburg will travel to Gallaudet University on Saturday, February 12, 2010 for a 2:00PM tip-off.
