Penn State Harrisburg

Gary Johnson begins his first year as head coach of Penn State Harrisburg's men's golf program in 2024-25. 

A letter-winning golfer at North Hunterdon High School in Annandale, N.J., Johnson spent a pair of seasons as a member of Lehigh's men's golf team, where he trained year round at Saucon Valley Country Club. After graduating from Lehigh, Johnson went on to earn his MBA from Penn State Harrisburg. A stalwart in the local community, he's racked up years of coaching experience in numerous sports during his time in the area.  

Recently retired from The Hershey Company, Johnson currently resides in nearby Hummelstown, Pa.
