LEBANON, Pa. – Consistency was key for Penn State Harrisburg's men's golf team during its latest outing at the two-day Charger Invitational hosted by Lancaster Bible at Lebanon Country Club.
As a group, the Lions secured a third-place finish out of six competing teams, shooting a two-day total of +53 (629). Four Penn State Harrisburg golfers also secured top-10 finishes, led by
Gavin Fegley's two-day effort of +12 (156). The score was good enough to secure him an eighth-place finish out of 35 total competitors.
Bronson Earley finished right behind his teammate in ninth thanks to carding a +13 (157), while
Dillon Yinger and
Isaiah Day each earned a share of 10th place thanks to identical +14 (158) efforts.
Robert Cary finished in a tie for 20th, while
Jacob Lotz and
Eddie Ricottone rounded out the Penn State Harrisburg group in 25th and 27th, respectively.
The Lions will look to build on the momentum when they compete at the two-day F&M Spring Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall at Bent Creek Country Club beginning on Sunday afternoon.
