UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's golf team completed its weekend of competition at the two-day Pennsylvania Classic hosted by Penn State Altoona at the Penn State Blue Course on Sunday afternoon, March 29.
As a group, the Lions earned an 11th-place finish out of 22 total teams, while Dillon Yinger was the team's top individual finisher, earning a share of 24th place out of 124 total golfers. Yinger was consistent across the days of competition, shooting a +5 (77) in round one before closing out the weekend with a +6 (78).
Gavin Fegley finished one stroke off his teammate in a share for 34th overall, carding a two-day +12 (156), while Jacob Lotz nearly matched both of them with a two-day +13 (157), good enough to secure a share of 40th overall.
Isaiah Day shot a two-day +21 to finish 81st, while Bronson Earley's two-day effort of +24 was good enough for a share of 85th overall. Nicholas Fowler and Robert Carey scored as individuals to complete the Penn State Harrisburg contingency.
It's a short turnaround for Penn State Harrisburg, as the Lions are set to return to action at the Alvernia Invitational at LedgeRock Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon.
