CARLISLE, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg's men's golf team opened its spring campaign at the two-day Dickinson Spring Invitational at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Course that culminated on a cold and blustery Monday afternoon, March 23.
As a group the Lions carded a two-day total of +55 (627) to secure an 11th-place finish out of 16 competing programs. Individually, Gavin Fegley was the team's top finisher, earning a share of 15th place out of 86 total competitors after carding a +7 (71, 79).
Dillon Yinger was consistent and captured a share of 38th thanks to a two-day +13 (77, 79). Bronson Earley improved upon his day-one effort and carded a +19 (t-56th), while Isaiah Day finished one stroke behind his teammate with a +20 (t-61st). Jacob Lotz finished in a tie for 65th overall and Nicholas Fowler competed as an individual to round out the Penn State Harrisburg contingency.
The Lions return to action when they travel to University Park for the two-day Pennsylvania Classic beginning on Saturday morning.
