LATHAM, N.Y. - Penn State Harrisburg women's basketball player Jordan Carpenter was named the United East Player of the Year to lead three all-conference selections, as announced by the conference on Tuesday morning.

In addition to her player of the year accolade, Carpenter was also named to the United East All-Conference First Team. Mikayla Coleman earned all-conference second team honors, while Ali Lister garnered third-team all-conference recognition.

Carpenter is the first player in program history to earn conference player of the year honors after winning the United East scoring title with a 19.3 points per game average. The graduate student also led the league in free throw percentage (83.5 percent), while ranking second in field goal percentage (58.3 percent) and third in rebounds per game (10.5). A D3hoops.com Preseason All-America Fourth Team selection, the Chester, Va. native recorded 14 double-doubles on the year and set single-season program records for points (520), field goals (182) and free throws (152), along with single-game records for points (34), field goal percentage (90.9 percent) and free throws made (17). The team captain was named the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) National Player of the Week in mid-December and earned seven United East Player of the Week awards this winter. Combined with her three prior seasons at Mary Washington, the transfer recently completed her illustrious career with 1,611 points and 1,076 rebounds.

"Jordan is a representation of unwavering dedication to team, a relentless work ethic and a heart full of humility," said head coach Ross Patrick. "She has set the new standard of excellence for Penn State Harrisburg women's basketball on and off the court. A true servant leader, I thank the United East coaches for respecting her on court accomplishments, as well as recognizing her strength of character."

Coleman turned in a strong rookie campaign that saw her average 13.9 points per game, good enough to rank 12th among United East players. The Manchester, Pa. native was the team's top 3-point shooter, connecting on 59 attempts from beyond the arc, and shot an impressive 82.9 percent from the foul line. She also added 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists per contest.

Lister's versatility was on full display during her second and final season at Penn State Harrisburg, as she led the team and ranked sixth among conference players in steals per game (2.8). The team captain also led the Lions and ranked seventh in the league with a 4.1 assists per game average. Like her all-conference counterparts, the Allentown, Pa. native was excellent at the charity stripe, shooting 81.5 percent from the foul line. Lister was second among Penn State Harrisburg players with a 5.7 rebounds per game clip and she added 9.3 points per contest.
