MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - For her efforts during the 2024-25 campaign, Penn State Harrisburg women's basketball player Jordan Carpenter earned all-region honors from D3hoops.com.
Carpenter was named to the D3hoops.com All-Region 4 Second Team, becoming the program's first player to earn all-region recognition from the organization. Â
The all-region accolade is the latest in a long line for Carpenter this season after she was named the United East Player of the Year and earned United East All-Conference First Team honors.
Carpenter turned in a memorable final collegiate season, averaging a team-high 19.3 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. The graduate student shot an impressive 58.3 percent from the floor and 83.5 percent from the foul line. The Chester, Va. native recorded 14 double-doubles on the year and set single-season program records for points (520), field goals (182) and free throws (152), along with single-game records for points (34), field goal percentage (90.9 percent) and free throws made (17). The team captain was named the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) National Player of the Week in mid-December and earned seven United East Player of the Week awards this winter. Combined with her three prior seasons at Mary Washington, the transfer completed her illustrious career with 1,611 points and 1,076 rebounds.Â
