LEBANON, Pa. - Gavin Fegley won the individual championship and Penn State Harrisburg's men's golf team capped its fall campaign in impressive fashion at the Lebanon Valley Fall Invitational at Lebanon Country Club on Monday afternoon, Oct. 27.
Fegley finished in a four-way tie for the top spot out of 101 total golfers thanks to shooting a +2 (74) but eventually took home top honors thanks to turning in the best effort among the foursome on the back nine. His performance led the way for the Lions, who shot a combined +37 (325) to secure a share of third place out of 19 competing programs—the team's best overall finish of the year so far.
Isaiah Day also had a nice outing, finishing in a tie for 17th overall with an effort of +8 (80), while Nicholas Fowler just missed out on a top-25 finish in a tie for 26th thanks to carding a +9 (81).
Bronson Earley, Holden Ackerman, Matthew Barder and Carter Klein completed the Penn State Harrisburg group of competitors on the fall's final day of competition.
With the fall now concluded, the Lions are set to return to action and host the United East Championships in the spring of 2026.
