MIDDLETOWN, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg announced its K&W Performers of the Week, highlighting strong performances from the week ending January 19, 2025.
Destiny Samuels and
Jonathon Luo were honored for their efforts over the weekend.
Destiny Samuels
Samuels and the women's indoor track and field team were back in action at the River Hawk Invitational hosted by Susquehanna this past weekend. Competing in the 400m run, Samuels earned seventh place with a time of 1:05.70. Samuels currently leads the conference in the 400-meter dash.
Jonathon Luo
As did Samuels, Luo and the men's track and field team competed in the River Hawk Invitational in Susquehanna, Pa. this past weekend. In the triple jump, Luo had a leap of 12.77 meters, securing a runner-up finish. The 12.77 meter length is the third all-time in program history. He tacked on a ninth-place finish in the long jump as well.
